PDR-234695 Interview Assignment Global Protocol OBJECTIVE: Learn about people from other countries by interviewing international individuals (international student, UCO faculty/staff or acquaintances from other countries). You will need to develop a list of at least 12-15 interview questions about the student’s country, culture and view of US. NOTE about who should and should NOT be interviewed: ALLOWED: The person interviewed was born and lived in a country other than the United States or a US territory. ALLOWED: The interviewee may be US military personnel, US government official, American Student or US Businessman (or woman) only if they lived in another country for more than five years. NOT ALLOWED: A person who lived in an overseas military base. You may want to tape your interview so that you don’t have to write during the interview. If you do, be sure to ask permission before taping! -Write your report using MS Word, 12pt font. – Interviewee Information: include name of person interviewed, nationality, profession/occupation, city of residence, time in the US, interview date and duration. – Twelve to fifteen appropriate questions should be used for the basis of the interview. The student is to develop his/her own questions. The questions should be ones that will help the student to gain a better understanding of the culture of the country of the interviewee.
